The Much Waited Fedora 7 Installation Video

Dear Software View Newsletter Subscriber,

A quick announcement!

We have uploaded the much waited video on Fedora 7 installation. It's the largest compared with the previous videos since we tried to discuss many aspects of installation for you to understand the operation in detail.

This video demonstrates installation of Fedora 7 in three ways: Live CD, DVD and over the network installation. Details about disk partitioning - including resizing (using GParted), Logical Volume Management (LVM), dual boot configurations (for example having both Windows XP and Fedora 7 installed in your computer) are included in this video.

File size: 378 Mega Bytes
Video duration: 2 hours and 15 minutes (Phew!)

Torrent download link appears in the traning details page as usual: http://www.swview.org/trainings/details/linux

Torrent downloading is always preferred since you can suspend and resume the downloads and is generally faster than HTTP. Furthermore, a torrent download tool automatically reconnects and resumes a download from the last downloaded point (not from the beginning of the file) if the network connections terminate.

After about a week, we will provide the HTTP download link.

Thank you,
Kamal Wickramanayake
