Dear Software View Newsletter Subscriber,

We never wanted to send another Newsletter issue until at least one other module of our Free Linux Training was created. Though you had been waiting for quiet some time now, due to an unexpectedly grew client engagement we had to delay even our commercial engagements. We need more time!

Then this mail? It is to let you know about the ICTA grants for software companies. Among other grants, ICTA offers USD 2500 or USD 10000 grants for in-house training. More details including application forms are found in their web site.

We thought of dropping you a note about ICTA grants in case you were not aware of them or you did not find “high-end” or “advanced” trainings in Sri Lanka to apply for the USD 10000 grant. We were contacted by multiple clients for trainings to be facilitated through ICTA grants. You may check if you will benefit from our trainings. We have added many new trainings to our list. We also have a new pdf catalog.

Should you need more trainings, we can offer you these:

1. Linux Clustering
   Diskless Linux, Apache load balanced clustering, distributed session management, MySQL clustering, Squid load balancing, Heart-beat, automatic fail over/fail back... One usage may be to create a scalable PHP application. You may find other use cases.
2. Java Enterprise Edition Clustering
   How about JBoss or Tomcat clustering for high performance computing? 
3. Software Architecture
   Architecture principles, quality attributes, patterns, tactics, architecture designing techniques, model, views, documentation, review and evaluation,... (Late added: Click for full details of Software Architecture Training)
4. Web Services
   SOAP, WSDL, MTOM, WS-Addressing, WS-Security, WS-SecurityPolicy, clustering...
    

We haven't added details of these trainings to our web site. These are some trainings that you may like to have. If needed, we will deliver. At least the last training above has been requested by one client. We are working on details.

And... We have unified our pricing scheme. Even though the page is not tidy, here you find the training prices. We will do trainings even for one person if scheduling is not to be an issue for us.

Contact us if you need. ICTA deadline is tomorrow (31st of July, 2008). We will try our best to assist you within the limited amount of time available by creating a training proposal that you can attach with your filled application form to ICTA.

Why did we wait until the last moment? In fact, we didn't want to send you mails since we are yet to add more modules to the Linux Training. However, we decided at the end to send this since the ICTA grants should not be missed and we offer trainings that are not found anywhere else in Sri Lanka. While we will benefit, you will benefit too!
