Grady Booch is the world's most prominent software architect having extensive experiences in architecting complex software-intensive projects around the world. He has been a great mentor for many software scientists and also known to many as a key person behind Unified Modeling Language (UML).
He has been with IBM Rational as its Chief Scientist since Rational's founding in 1981. Grady is internationally recognized for his innovative work on software architecture, software engineering, and modeling. More about him is found in "IBM Rational software - Thought leaders - Grady Booch".
